The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that is equipped with smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its 180-minute running time is impressive. It also automatically refills and self-empties its water tank.
1. iRobot Roomba j7+
The Roomba J7+, IRobot's smartest robot to date, is the Roomba j7+. Its biggest advancement, however, is its camera-based obstacle-detection technology. This uses AI to identify objects such as charging cords and shoes. It's also the first robot to automatically send you a picture of an object it encounters so you can tell it to stay clear of it in the future.
The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we've ever tested. It cleans up dirt and spills quickly, leaving no trace that it was there. It's simple to control via the iRobot Home app which lets you schedule cleaning and create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't clean areas you don't want it to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it with a voice.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take some time to download updates, and at times it's hard to determine whether the update is functioning until you've seen it in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you're looking for a robotic vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean your floors A hybrid is the ideal choice. These robots come with a water tank so they can mop and vacuum simultaneously. They also have a number of additional features, such as smart mapping, small obstacles avoidance, and the ability to dry and wash mopping pads. The downside is that they tend to be expensive at retail, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they are often reduced in price.
Roborock makes some of our favorite robot vacuums, and the Q5+ isn't an exception. It's their cheapest auto-empty model, and while it lacks certain features you'll find on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still an excellent option if you're willing to sacrifice a bit to save a few hundred dollars.
The Q5+ is noticeable gentle around obstacles like table legs and walls, which makes it an excellent option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also very thorough in removing dust bunnies. This is an area that many robot vacuums that are less expensive do not excel in. The Q5+'s navigation is excellent, with few misses along walls and in corners.
The Q5+, like other Roborock products, can be controlled by a few buttons on the device, or via the Roborock App. Through the app, you can start and stop cleaning and schedules, as well as create virtual barriers and no-go zones, and modify your home map or change the labeling of rooms.
If you select the Q5+ model, it comes with a brand new auto-emptying dock that's designed to make the robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, but once it's installed it can be accomplished with relative ease. The Freo X Ultra is not without flaws, especially in the area of navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robotvacs. This means that it is prone to getting stuck or get confused in certain corners or rooms in the home. It can't navigate stairs as well as competitors, for instance and it doesn't have a dock that allows you to create an exclusive cleaning zone for plush carpets.
While it doesn't offer the same amount of cleaning-related options in its app or as many shortcuts within the app like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those looking for an all-around great mop and vacuum cleaner that's worth the price tag.
But if you want to save some cash or don't want to think about the limitations of this robot There are many other options on the market, including a lot of eufy models that cost substantially less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for example is less expensive however it comes with more features, including the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, which provides a better overall vacuuming experience on bare floors carpets with low pile, and even high-pile carpets.
